The Running Music BPM ranges We use on this website are simply a good rule of thumb for you to give you an indication of songs which would be great for you to listen to while you run, but as we have said proper testing and trial and error is necessary to get that great running stride!

This particular playlist features some pretty fast and driving beats and is pretty good for a large part of people who run at a pretty fast rate.  The driving Music and quick beat will be sure to get your pace up and steady to get you to run faster and more productively.

Running Music is such a great way to motivate yourself to get running and run at a great pace just perfect for you so that you can get the most benefit from running.  And it doesn’t have to cost that must, just the cost of  a big list of MP3′s We’re also hoping that Grooveshark comes out with an Iphone App because then you could put the Grooveshark Playlist directly on your Iphone and start running right away.

Is Running Music Dangerous

Running with music is a great idea, as long as you follow some common sense rules.

This article explores the question, Is Running Music Dangerous?  The major answer is absolutely not, as long as you use common sense.

Running with music can be a powerful motivational tool and it’s benefits should not be overlooked by any avid runner or jogger.  However certain precautions should be taken.  Listening to music can disrupt a critical sense, the sense of hearing the things around you.  The primary dangers is a limiting of your ability to hear vehicles or other potentially dangerous obstacles.

Some important things to consider is to think of ways to listen to your motivating and invigorating running music without completely hindering your ability to hear.  We recommend not using noise cancelling or “ear plug style” headphones.  While those headphones are great for the airplane or in the bus, they are not the best option for running as the completely block all sounds around you.  If you only have noise cancelling headphones consider purchasing a simpler cheaper pair of headphones or running with only one earpiece in.

As long as you follow these simple rules using Running Music during your Jogging will be just as safe as without, and running with Running Music is certainly a lot more fun and easier to accomplish as we explain in our article Why does running with music make running so much easier?
